Our First Sale!!!

We are VERY excited to share wonderful news with all of you...We made our very first sale today!!!

We wanted to share this picture with all of you of our very first farm customer...

Here's our first and favorite customer Lucius Turkalj purchasing one of our fresh, free-range chickens:

The smile on his face says it all! This is the reason we began Tara Firma Farms...to allow families to come and experience our farm together, and offer them fresh, healthy food to grow on!

Thank you to Lucius and his father Simon for being the first customers to purchase one of our wonderful chickens! You are definitely our very favorite customers to date!

Here is the program:
1. Consider the $$ amount you wish to spend each week for chicken, beef, pork, veal and eggs, in $30 increments.
2. Consider the $$ amount you wish to spend in produce in $10 increments.

Farm Humor

An undercover Sheriff’s Deputy stops at a ranch and talks with an old farmer.
He tells the farmer, ‘I need to inspect your ranch for illegally grown drugs.’

The old farmer says, ‘Okay, but don’t go in that field over there.’

The Deputy verbally explodes saying, ‘Mister, I have the authority
of the Sheriff’s Department with me.’ Reaching into his coat pocket,
he pulls out his badge and thrusts it in the farmer's face. ‘See this badge?
This badge means I am allowed to go wherever I wish..on any land.
No questions asked or answers given. Have I made myself clear?

The old farmer nods politely and goes about his chores.

A little later, the old farmer hears loud screams and spies the Deputy running
for his life, and close behind is the farmer’s bull. With every step the bull
is gaining ground on the officer. The Deputy is clearly terrified.

The old farmer immediately throws down his tools, runs to the fence
and yells at the top of his lungs…..

‘Your badge! Show him your badge!’
